Fashion!

Just as we were moaning about the lack of trendy dive gear, the world goes crazy and new, hot labels are springing up faster than a fast thing in a hurry. The huge success of Diving Daisy T shirts at the Dive Show demonstrates that the market for cool women's T shirts is certainly there. Look out for Daisy at the upcoming London Dive Show at Olympia. You can also shop through her website www.divingdaisy.freeserve.co.uk
Making moves on the fashion front are Surface Interval with a range of cool T shirts - featuring long sleeved shirts in cool colours and womens sizes galore. You can see them on www.surfaceinterval.co.uk - very flash!
New label Narcosis are going strong with sexy strappy 'Wetter the Better' tops in flannel material. They're launching a new range of T shirt dresses for the summer. Contact Andrea on 01398 361 365 for information.
As predicted, fins are undergoing a revolution at the moment and those innovative boys at Force Fin have come up with some yummy items called FabForce specially designed to grace you suitcase for those tropical holidays. Featuring comfortable built in fabric fastenings and shinyshiny colours. We have yet to spot them in UK dive shops.
CBear are continuing to work with top techies on the development of their toasty Tricore undersuits. Lets face it, if they can keep a big ugly bloke like Richard Bull alive under the arctic ice, going for a quick dip off the Farnes is going to prove no problem at all. Look out for divegirls in the hallmark red CBear fleece hat, a total must for the UK dive scene. We wouldn't be seen swanning around Portland Harbour in anything else.
Carolyn Jones at Awoon has only just finished wowing us with one stunning collection of aquasuits and shes now working on another. Get in touch through her new email awoon@awoon.com
What is it with the snake theme? Eve had her serpent and Cleopatra had her asp, but todays divegirls are getting cosy with the Cobra from Suunto. Neat, integrated, gives you all the info you need on your dive and even has a handy clip on able bit. Superb.

Chammyz in the Red Sea
Perfect for putting on after you've peeled off your wetsuit - Chammyz garments will keep you warm, dry and they feel gorgeously soft. We did have a pair of trousers to model, but the dive guide who offered to review them refused to part with them - you can't get a stronger recommendation than that! Avaialble in a wide range of colours and styles. Check them out on www.chammyz.com UK distribution imminent.
